Elmhurst Summer Fair, in collaboration with over 15 small businesses, community-based organizations and elected officials. 

The Fair will feature painting, drawing, and arts and crafts for kids, cultural performances for the whole family, and $5 vouchers for people who stop by to encourage residents to patronize local businesses, and giveaways such as tote bags and raffle tickets. 

Elmhurst in Queens is a diverse, fast-developing neighborhood and AAF has been actively working with the small businesses in the neighborhood conducting a merchant organizing project.

The Elmhurst Summer Fair is part of the AAF’s ongoing effort to improve community spaces and foster a sense of belonging, and, in collaboration with local merchants raise the profiles of Queens neighborhoods to increase awareness and customers to immigrant and Asian-owned small businesses.
